Epson Endeavor ST110 でVMWare ESXi を使ってみるつづき。

先のエントリで、Epson Endeavor ST110 でNICは自動で認識され、内蔵のHDDは認識されなかったところまで書きましたが、

/etc/vmware/simple.map
/usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids

あたりを編集することで、どうも認識されたっぽいです。

/etc/vmware/simple.map には最終行に、

8086:2a06 1043:8262 storage ahci
8086:2850 1043:8263 storage ahci

を追加しました。

/usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids には、Intel Corporation の欄に、

2a06 IDE interface Mass storage controller: Intel Corporation
2850 IDE interface Mass storage controller: Intel Corporation

を追加しました。
